Special place
The Eye Center is a special place. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and respectful. Dr Platt is exceptional, I highly recommend hime for cataract surgery. I had the Trifocals lens and I see much better than before my surgery.

Professional service
I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr Clary. I can’t give enough praise for his skill, professionalism and caring, joyful personality. I’m truly amazed at the difference in clarity and distance I can now see. Having this surgery and having Dr Clary as my surgeon was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Dr. Matthew Clary is a great Surgeon
I'd like to thank Dr. Matthew Clary for preventing me from making a blinding decision. I came to The Columbia Eye Center with high eye pressure and declining vision in one eye more than the other. Though simple tasks such as grocery shopping, walks and driving had become uncomfortable, I was in grievous denial that I needed any treatments but eyeglasses. Dr. Clary's diagnosis: severe glaucoma and cataracts in both eyes fell silent to my ears. I couldn't fathom surgery at the time. The doctor was empathetic while stern about my outcome without aggressive treatments. MIGS and Cataract surgery were performed on both my eyes without incident. Post-op healing has a lot to do with how we take care of ourselves, follow doctor's orders and communicate our concerns to medical staff. I have no doubt that if I have any concerns after surgery, Dr. Clary, Janet and staff will take care of me. Thank you.
