After selling their 40 Store Chain of casual apparel/sunglass special stores, Pacific Eyes & T's and Beyond The Beach, Sally and Dan Goodman looked to start a new type of retail store. Certain criteria were founded: First it must be a true labor of love; 2nd it must be a individual expression of their unique tastes and talents; 3rd it must be a concept which they could and would happily involve themselves in the daily detail; and 4th it must be an exceptional concept in which they could express their creative energies.
